How you earn

Three ways to get paid on every video

Views

R3.50

For every 1,000 real views of your videos.* Views count when someone watches for 3 seconds or more. Your own views don't count.

Gifts

70%

Fans send gifts on any video, not only on LIVE. A Protea gift (R2) puts R1.40 in your wallet; a Gold Crown (R50) puts in R35.

Fan subscriptions

From R29

Your biggest fans pay monthly for exclusive videos and perks. You keep 80% of what Dumo receives, after app store fees.

Paid every Friday into any South African bank. Need it sooner? Cash out instantly with PayShap from R50.

TikTok in South Africa

No pay for views. TikTok's Creator Rewards Program isn't offered here.

Most creator money comes from gifts on LIVE.

A video can go viral and pay you nothing.

On Dumo

Paid for views on every video.

Gifts on normal videos, so you don't have to go LIVE to earn.

Data Saver so your fans watch more for less data.
